we are pleased to inform you that the outcome of the conference held today between our administration and the health authorities was positive about the healthiness of the water in our lake and the return to the correct parameters of the water in our aqueduct throughout the territory.

Contrary to press reports, there was no health emergency. The circulated numbers are not true.

It was a temporary interruption in the operation of the chlorination plant in one of the cisterns of our municipal waterworks due to a lightning strike.

This allowed the proliferation of a quantity of norovirus capable of creating intestinal disorders in those who used the water to quench their thirst.

Despite the reports, everything was resolved in a short time and the purification plants are now operating within the correct parameters.

The ban on drinking from our taps will be lifted shortly after a further inspection.

You can use the water for personal hygiene as well as bathing on all our beaches.
